[Photo] Prosecutors to question Cho Kuk next week after his wife placed under arrest

Chung Kyung-sim, professor at Dongyang University and wife of former Justice Minister Cho Kuk, was placed under arrest on Oct. 24. after a Seoul court approved prosecutors’ request for an arrest warrant. Prosecutors are expected to call Cho in for questioning next week. Prosecutors will likely focus on Cho’s suspected involvement in Chung’s unlawful investments in a private equity fund, as a portion of the funds Chung invested allegedly came from Cho’s personal bank account.
